POEM BY LISA JESCHKE
When will Germany FINALLY auto- abolish??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!/()=%)&/%§&%(/)(/)&/%
Why this eternal state? Why no theory of transition? Why no theory? Where is my horizon?
The monarchy around us – still organic organ.
And who are we?
And who are we?
We are the robot girls.
Robots like to auto-abolish
Who they are who they were.
Robots don’t mind.
Robots are CURIOUS.
Robots ENJOY IT.
ROBOTS HAVE FEELINGS.
I, for instance, just one robot girl
Among many,
Would loooove to auto-abolish
Who I am who I was, empirically,
Just like when one of my best robot friends
Disassembled herself very carefully and tenderly
And liked it very much, and throughout
Kept speaking in fragments calmly
Of how it was and how it will be: she spoke relentlessly
Hard, exchanging parts, of finger and teeth,
Fresh-attaching them to others
Who also wanted
To do away with themselves,
Yeah they formed new mouths to expose
How it was to expose how it was.
If only the monarchy winding itself around us
– Us, the robot proteins –
Were to auto-abolish, too,
Were the monarchy as it is as it was
To auto-abolish
It could also finally become robot,
And in this case, too, as with my robot friend,
Every particle of the dust of history would remain visible,
Because: abolition is the opposite of extermination,
So even the most disturbing details from back then (now)
Would remain visible,
The fact that robots were allowed to hand-decay
But not to reconstruct their build without permission,
The fact that those who carried robot foetuses and
Robot embryos in their metal reproductive systems
Could not have these taken out without consultation,
The fact that robots could not reassemble
Into folded, contradictory, licking artificial mass systems
Showing their wounds if or when or as they wanted,
And the fact that on evenings and on Sundays
In many villages the footpaths were folded in
Because: dead – have WE given permission?
We would study these details from the wilderness
Over and over again, not nostalgically,
But so as to disassemble them,
And at the same time, multi-tasking,
We would be walking
Toward the horizon,
kitsch music playing
– So kitsch
It hurts, please! –
The robot horses at our side.

Immer noch: Wann schafft Deutschland sich endlich ab??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!/()=%)&/%§&%(/)(/)&/%
Warum so Ewigkeit im Diesseits? Warum so keine Theorie
Des Übergangs? Warum keine Theorie?
– So kitschig,
Dass es weh tat –,
Gen Horizont laufen,
Die Roboterpferde an unserer Seite.
